Yuri Kublanovsky —  poet, essayist, critic, art historian, known for his dissident past, started in the poet group SMOG. From 1982 to 1990 he lived as an emigre (Paris, Munchen). The author of dozens of lyrical books appearing in America, France, and Russia. Iosif Brodsky highly valued the language of the poet: « Kublanovsky possesses, if you will, the richest vocabulary after Pasternak».  Recipient of the A. Solzhenitsyn Prize, O. Mandelshtam Prize, New Pushkin Prize.
